Fillings
¿ Which are Fillings? The teeth that have been affected for caries (carie or the cavities) require a Fillings. There are many diverse types of Fillings, including:
- dental blends
The dental blends, also known as silver Fillings, are covered of a mixture of the mercury (45 to 50 percent), and of an aleación of the silver, of the tin plating, and of the copper (50 to 55 percent). When it combines with other materials in dental blend, the chemical nature of the mercury changes and is not more long considered harmful al body.
- composed resins
Also know like white Fillings, a composed resin is a plastic mixture tooth-colored filled of the crystal (dioxide of the silicon) that is utilized above all for the cosmetic improvements of the smile changing the color of the teeth or forming again the teeth disfigured.
Other alternatives to the teeth of damaged or decayed of the restoration:
- sheets of the porcelain - a material of ceramics is bound al front of teeth to change the color, the size, and/or the form of the tooth
- crown - a "case" that covers a cracked tooth or broken, dismantled by a Fillings, to approach its size and normal form
